Human Resources and Social Development Canada

Understanding the Early Years (UEY) is a national initiative that enables members of communities across Canada to better understand the needs of their young children and families so that they can determine the best programs and services to meet those needs.

The Program Effectiveness Data Analysis Coordinators (PEDAC's)

The PEDDAC's are housed at the Parent Resource Centre as part of the Ontario Government's Early Years Initiative. They are a team of five who are responsible for supporting the Ontario Early Years Centres in the Eastern Ontario Region with evidence-based planning and child outcomes measurement.

The Perinatal Partnership Program of Southeastern Ontario

The Perinatal Partnership Program of Eastern and Southeastern Ontario (PPPESO) works together with hospitals, health departments, community agencies, academic institutions, private practitioners, and consumers to effectively link perinatal care, education, and research.

The Offord Centre for Child Studies

Our research is dedicated to improving the life quality and life opportunities of the one in five Canadian children and youth who suffer from serious social and emotional problems.

Here you will learn about children's mental health issues and the work we are doing to help every child shine brightly.

The UEY project was developed with funding from the Government of Canada under the Understanding the Early Years Initiative and is managed by Success By 6.
