Success By 6 Ottawa Working Structure

Success By 6 Ottawa carries its work out in a number of ways.

The work of Success By 6 Ottawa is facilitated by a small staff team, which works together with a diversity of community partners that take a vested interest in early childhood development in the community of Ottawa.

The Success By 6 Ottawa Council of Partners is responsible for setting the overall direction and policies for Success By 6 Ottawa.

The Success By 6 Ottawa Network for Children is a body of people who work with frontline organizations in Ottawa that raise awareness of or investment in early childhood development in our community. The network informs the work of Success By 6 Ottawa.

The Success By 6 Ottawa Research, Evaluation and Action Group performs research and facilitates evaluations that allow Success By 6 Ottawa’s community partners to make informed actions that are most likely to create positive results for investment in early child development in Ottawa.

United Way/Centraide Ottawa acts as the host and fiduciary agent for Success By 6; providing financial support, infrastructure, operational expenses, human resources and in kind support. It is represented on the Council, Executive, ONC and REAG.

The City of Ottawa’s Public Health department provides financial support and seconded staff to Success By 6. It is represented on the Council, Executive, ONC and REAG.
